It’s a rough job at SEMA Day 2…
Yea, I’m stressin.’ This is the roughest job I ever had to do. I mean, c’mon. The hot sweats, chills, feverish cooldaddys and Hershey’s kisses being thrown at me left and right…
A HUGE day a SEMA with interviews from Uncle Joe Benson and Dan Woods from Speed’s “Chop, Cut, Rebuild” to World Famous Styles Striper, Matt Farah and Dwayne Garrett of GH Wheels. Insane day, plus… girls galore. Everywhere. And it was harsh having to interview in these supa cool Drag Chairs. I’m gonna need a break… sometime in the future. I mean, not now, mind you. Maybe some time next week or after.
Tomorrow? After SEMA is a big Fireball Bash at the Cosmo. This is so retarded…
SEMA Behind the Scenes
Got a chance to pull off some shots of the SEMA roll-in the other day. We were in line for about 4 hours, waiting to place KING TAHOE. It was awesome to see so many cool rides in one place without all the fluff. Check ‘em out. To say that people are proud of their rides would be an understatement.

GM Press Conference at SEMA exposes new GM Coolness…
Awesome media event went off last night at the Wynn Hotel, courtesy of our boys at GM. Lifetime Oil Filter CEO Christopher Hubbard and I watched awestruck as they revealed some serious firepower with the new Camaro, Sonic and a bitchin’ Chevelle designed by Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (Like he knows cars… sheesh.) Also on hand was buddy Bob Bondurant. You know him…, he’s got a couple a cool rides.
It’s very clear that GM is determined not only to bounce back, but to lay down the hammer with the Coda Camaro in the race circuit. Also present was dirt biker Ricky Carmichael with his Sonic and a Hot Wheels Camaro that would simply knock your socks off, dangit.
Check out the picks and try not to drool on your laptop… um, iphone… um, android.
EXCLUSIVE SEMA COVERAGE!! Right here, folkaroonies…
That’s right. SEMA starts Tuesday, November 1st and goes to the 5th in Vega, baby. And the Hollywood Garage will be there, filming, blogging, posting, tweeting, facebooking and foursquaring. (Sheesh, hope I have time to hit the peep station?)
Our film set will be at the Lifetime Oil Filter booth and we’ll be interviewing cool people with cool products. And we’ll be sitting in the DRAGCHAIRS, insanley built by our bud Christopher Hubbard and his team at Lifetime Oil Filter.
On the schedule are Rich Evans, Dan Woods from Chop,Cut,Rebuild on Speed and a host of other wackoos. And since I’ve now been dubbed the “Buster Keaton of the Car World,” I get to totally embarrass them in any way, shape or form. Officially, of course.
Check out the postings on the blog and stay tooned to the Youtube Page for coverage. There will be some seriously cool stuff to cover… along with the SEMA girls which I’ll personally make sure get covered…. uh, I mean interviewed…. duh.
