LA Auto Show in BLUES…
Color. Why do people like BLUE for thier cars? Blue means depth and stability. Calmness surrounding the sky and sea. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.
Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body. It slows human metabolism and produces a calming effect. It’s strongly associated with tranquility .
You can use blue to promote products and services related to cleanliness (water purification filters, cleaning liquids, vodka), air and sky (airlines, airports, air conditioners), water and sea (sea voyages, mineral water). As opposed to emotionally warm colors like red, orange, and yellow; blue is linked to consciousness and intellect. Use blue to suggest precision when promoting high-tech products.
Blue is a masculine color; according to studies, it is highly accepted among males. Dark blue is associated with depth, expertise, and stability; it is a preferred color for corporate America. Suit doods and cool cars.

(2) commentsThe Hollywood Car Show EPISODE #14! JAMES BOND SPECIAL!
The James Bond episode! Since Tim and I are both terribly excited about Quantum of Solace opening this weekend, we decided to spend the bulk of the show talking about James Bond! Be sure to check out the photos too.
Besides Quantum, we also talked about Forbidden Planet, Genesis: Apes (Conquest Remake), Stallone directing Statham and Li in “The Expendables”, Joe Johnston directing Captain America, Sgt. Rock with Joel Silver, and Michael Crichton who passed away last week.
Time saw some bad Arnold movies and I got roped into watching crappy television since Chuck and Heroes was off last week because of the elections.
Don’t forget the movie trivia contest! Leave a note below if there is a movie car that should be made into a diecast that hasn’t already been made! Winner gets a 1:18 Scale Chevelle from Fireball Tim’s stash!
There is a little bit of bad audio in this episode too. Somehow some static crept into the show and I had to cut quite a bit. Nothing you’ll miss, but go visit Reactor Watches just in case.
And be sure to check out this weeks sponsor, DiecastSpace.com which is a social network for diecast car enthusiasts! Right up your alley I’m sure.
Want to see all of Fireball Tim’s videos in one place? Go over and check out the FireTV Channel at Fireballed!. Just click any of the show logos to watch the videos!

(0) CommentsExcellence in design INSPIRES…
What is good design? …Something that inspires you. Make you think, examine and appreciate form. Whether a glass, wallet, your wife or a car, any beautiful form can inspire.
Case in point, Lamborghini’s new 4-Seater, The ESTOQUE and the ARTEGA GT. Fantastic examples of design excellence. Now it’s time to decide who would be driving these cars beside me, and since the 14th brings QUANTUM OF SOLACE, there should be a bad guy rockin’ these cars.
By the time you read this, I’ll be at SEMA in Las Vegas. Stay tuned for what will be crazy ridiculous cars… but for now, here’s more of these two.
(0) CommentsGet HUMBLED….
So, it’s the weekend, right? I decide, “I’m gonna grab my Dad, Tony, and take him out for some fun.” And with that in mind, I settled on a rapid paced, high stakes intense round of miniature golf.
Now, had I known that my Dad was a closet minigolfer at heart, I would have decided on something much less extreme. But, he said, “Wow, I haven’t done that in years!” LIAR!! I KNOW he’s been playing on his off hours every day for the last 12 years. How do I know? BECAUSE HE LAID THE SMACK DOWN ON ME!!!
There I was all ready to take it easy on my POP, when WHAM! I get a ball to the head, club to the foot and spun like a top on starbucks. He’d say things like, “Hey how did THAT happen?” …as the ball sank into the hole like there was some sort of James Bond Magnet dug inside.
The Lighthouse,… I GOT SLAMMED. The MAYAN GARDEN,… I got smoked. THE PSYCHO HOUSE! I GOT BOXED AND SENT TO THE CLEANERS!!!
My Dad. Best dood on the planet. Only, I think I’ll take him to something simple and easy next time, like an Alcatraz Dig, Dive and Dash event… Or maybe get him on TV…
